Jakarta, 24 November 2017 – As the national telecommunications company that keeps transforming to become the best in the digital telecommunications era and provide the best services for customers so they get "live like never before" experience, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) held the 2017 Digi Summit TelkomGroup on November 22-23 in Jakarta.
Digi Summit is an annual event that introduces the latest digital technology product from TelkomGroup to show the company’s commitment in supporting the national digital telecommunications industry. In the event, TelkomGroup’s partners and the best consulting companies that collaborate with Telkom also had knowledge sharing session.
With the theme of "Engage Today to Shape Tomorrow", TelkomGroup asks the participants in the summit to build a great business potential in the future by involving customers through the utilization of the latest TelkomGroup’s digital products. Through the implementation of "engage partner" concept in a form of joint investment and "engage client" concept, the industry insiders are expected to develop the implementation of Business to Business (B2B) and build a better future for the digital technology industry.

In this year’s Digi Summit, TelkomGroup cooperates with some prominent local and global partners in the digital technology industry to support the improvement of digital business services, whether for segment B2C, B2B, and Mediation Portal. The partnership is a strategic effort of TelkomGroup to transform the company into a digital telecommunications company. In the event, TelkomGroup signed an agreement with the chosen partners as a form of long-term partnership in developing digital business in Indonesia.
Metranet, Telkom’s subsidiary that engages mobile contents, e-commerce, online ticketing, and social network game publishers, signs an agreement with some business partners, which are Cellum International for Fintech service, ADW for B2B Commerce (Xooply) service, and Gameloft, Garena, Blackstorm for Upoint Gaming service. Meanwhile, Telkom signs an agreement with Agate to develop gaming ecosystem.
Latest TelkomGroup’s Digital Services
In Digi Summit 2017, TelkomGroup launched some of the latest digital services for enterprise and individual customers, which are Xooply, Xsight, Aim Right, USearch, Hoobex, and Oona.
Xooply is a service that helps companies to make online transactions (e-commerce) and provide the first B2B e-Marketplace platform that will aggregate the needs for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procurement from state-run companies (SOEs), regional-owned companies, and contract holders. Through the platform, B2B partnerships between buyers from SOEs, regional-owned companies, or contract holders and goods supplier will be connected by the latest e-procurement technology so the procurement would be more effective, efficient, and transparent.
Xsight is a service for developers to utilize link system for their app and Big Data analytics.
Aim Right is a service in advertising sector that helps enterprises to send information about their products in many formats through a mobile app to user profiles based on the targeted information receivers.
TelkomGroup also prepares USearch service that provides a customized browser to protect children from negative contents, such as pornography, cybercrime, racism, and many others.
TelkomGroup also introduces Hoobex and Oona, a Twin OTT Platform service for entertainment. Hoobex will provide premium videos and music to their subscribers. Meanwhile, Oona is a service that has dozens and even hundreds of linear channels that can be enjoyed freely by customers and programmatic advertising-based. Through programmatic advertising innovation, Oona will encourage a healthy video content industry in Indonesia.
Through Digi Summit 2017, TelkomGroup hopes they could improve the quality of their customers’ business with the principle of "engage today to shape tomorrow" and accelerate digital transformation in Indonesia with a better quality in the future.
