Ahok Still Entitled to Pension

JAKARTA, GRES.NEWS - Basuki ‘Ahok’ Tjahaja Purnama has submitted his resignation letter as Jakarta Governor. However, he will still be entitled to pension money.

Minister of Internal Affairs, Regional Autonomy Director General, Sumarsono, said Ahok resigned with honor, so he would still receive pension.

"A resignation means he resigned with honor," Soni underscored, Jakarta, Friday (26/5).

Ahok will receive a little less than Rp10 million and his letter of resignation will be announced in a plennary meeting at the House of Regional Representatives in Jakarta, Tuesday (30/5). (dtc/mfb)
