Police Arrest Corrupt Civil Servants from Medan Transportations Office

JAKARTA, GRES.NEWS – The North Sumatera Police launched a break-in operation at the Transportations Office of Medan. From the mission, the police arrested our civil servants, IF (47), YP (43), YA (27) and IP (26).

Sumatera Utara Police spokesperson Rina Sari Ginting said the break-in operation took place on Friday (16/6) at 14.30 West Indonesia Time (WIB), but Rina did no provide further details.

"The North Sumatera Police arrested several people in a break-in operation at the Transportations Office of Medan. The arrests concerned motor vehicle specifications arrangements that were conducted through unofficial procedures," Rina said.

From the operations, the police has confiscated 5 cell phones, cash worth Rp1,740,000, four completed vehicle specification documents and 20 unfinished specification documents.
