Police Capture Man for Terrorizing Kebayoran Lama Precinct Police

JAKARTA, GRES.NEWS – The police have captured the man who terrorized Kebayoran Lama Precinct Police Headquarters, South Jakarta by raising ISIS flag and threatened the police. The perpetrator is Ghilman Omar "GOH" Harridhi (20). He was captured at Jalan H Nurisan, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, last Friday (7/7).

According to the National Police’s (Polri) spokesperson Rikwanto, the perpetrator was arrested on July 7, 2017, around 21.00 WIB (West Indonesia Time-Zone).

He said that GOH warned all state apparatus about the caliphate. GOH terrorized the police by raising the flag of ISIS at Kebayoran Lama Precinct Police Headquarters on July 3, 2017.

"He raised the ISIS flag at Kebayoran Lama Precinct Police Headquarters, then he left a threatening letter that he had written in his house," Rikwanto said.

Rikwanto said that GOH has been learning radical teachings since 2015. "He learned radical teachings from the cyberspace since 2015, one of them is a group and channel in Telegram," Rikwanto said. Then, he joined numerous radical groups. Some of them are groups and channels in Telegram, such as Manjanik, Ghuroba, UKK and Khilafah Islamiyah.

GOH becomes an ally of ISIS in the middle of 2017. After that, he does physical training by himself so he could be ready for ‘jihad’ (crusade) anytime.

He does his physical training in his house by running, sit up, push up, back up and archery. (dtc/rm)
