KPK Seals Offices in Malang Town Hall

JAKARTA, GRES.NEWS – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched and sealed a number offices IN the Malang Town Hall, East Java.

KPK Vice Chairman, Saut Situmorang, said one of the suspects in the case is Malang House of Regional Representatives (DPRD) Chairman, Moch Arief Wicaksono. "The suspects are Moch Arief Wicaksono and some of his colleagues," Saut said, Wednesday (9/8).

KPK Public Relations Head, Febri Diansyah, confirmed that the anti-graft body searched and sealed offices in the Malang Town Hall, following two evidence found by investigators.

KPK, she says, has elevated the status of the case from preliminary investigations to investigations.
KPK Chairman, Agus Rahardjo, explained that the case is not related to the previous break-in operations. "The case has nothing to do with previous break-in operations," Agus said, Wednesday (9/8).

In addition to offices at the two hall, in the case, KPK has also sealed offices at the Malang Public Works and Spatial Management Office. (dtc/mfb)
