JAKARTA, GRES.NEWS – President Joko Widodo’s bilateral visit to Singapore on Thursday (7/9) has resulted in four deals between the two nations.
According to setkab.go.id, the memorandum of understanding (MoU) are as follows:
Education and vocational school cooperation, sealed between Indonesians’ Minister of Industry and Singapore’s Minister for Education, Ong Ye Kung;
2. Cooperation in Education between Indonesia’s Minister of Education and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy, and Singapore’s Minister for Education (schools) Ng Chee Meng;
3. Higher Education Cooperation between Indonesia’s Minister of Research and Technology and Higher Education, M Nasir, and Singapore’s Minister of Education (Higher Education and Skills), Ong Ye Kung;
4. Disaster Risk Management Cooperation between Disaster Mitigation National Agency (BNPB) head, Willem Rampangilei, and Commissioner at Singapore Civil Defense Force.
Meanwhile, in the same event, President Joko Widodo and Prime Minister Lee signed and launched a 'Joint Stamp' and the 'Commemorative Book Rising 50' to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations of both relations. (rm)
