JAKARTA, GRES.NEWS – The High Prosecutors Office of Riau will evaluate three State Prosecutors Office (Kejari) in Riau for yet to bring their own corruption case to court.

"Throughout the year, state prosecutors office in Dumai, Inhil and Kepulauan Meranti have not made brought their own corruption investigation to court," said Sugeng Riyanta, Junior Attorney or Special Crimes, Saturday (Dec.12).

Sugeng said this fact indicate that prosecutors at said offices have been underperforming.

"The cases that were successfully brought to court were those investigated by the police. This means said prosecutors offices have been inferior in their performance compared to the police. We will evaluate the situation. We intend to see them at least perform on the same level as the police," Sugeng said. (dtc/mfb)
