JAKARTA, GRES.NEWS – Two names of Golkar Party politicians, Ade "Akom" Komarudin and Setya Novanto, came up in a trial of bribery connected to Unqualified auditors’ statement in the Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Ministry. Both of the names appeared in the result of KPK’s wiretapping.

KPK prosecutors questioned the word ‘hide’ in the wiretapped conversation between Apriyadi Yaya Malik (Managing Director of PT Ragta Dra Advertising). Then, Akom and Novanto’s names came up in the conversation.

"Who is Akom?" KPK prosecutor questioned Yaya in the continuation trial of Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) auditor Ali Sadli in Jakarta Anti-Corruption Court at Jalan Bungur Besar Raya, Jakarta Pusat, Monday (8/1).

"Ade Komarudin," Yaya answered.

Then, the prosecutors questioned him whether Akom is connected to the case that involves Ali Sadli, and Yaya answered that he has nothing to do with it.

Akom’s name came up in the recorded conversation between Yaya and Ali Sadli’s brother-in-law, Yanuar on 26th of May.

The prosecutors questioned Yaya again about the meaning of word ‘hide’ in the conversation.

"What do you hide?" the prosecutor questioned.

"I forgot," Yaya answered.

The prosecutor continues to question Yaya about the word because Yaya and Yanuar also talked about vehicle ownership documents (BPKB) in the conversation.

The prosecutor doesn’t stop there, he also questioned why Yaya hid Ali’s car. Yaya said that Ali has five cars in his house, but he only knows that Ali only owns three of them.

"I have no reason. It’s not me who want to hide them, Sir. I was called by Yanuar," Yaya said.

Then, Ali mentioned that the decision to hide the car is the agreement between his wife, Yanuar, and Yaya. Ali said that he hid the car because he’s worried without telling what he means. (dtc/mfb)
